The Strategy and Technology function lays the path for Nokia’s future technology innovation and identifies the most promising areas in which Nokia can create new value. By setting the company’s vision and understanding the evolving market and business dynamics around us, the function develops a coherent business strategy, technology and architecture vision across the company, establishes a solid research foundation on which to innovate new products and solutions, and provides the critical support infrastructure that ensures all Nokia business units can deliver that vision properly and securely. 

 

IT Integration Engineer

 

The overall objective for this position is to have a strong IT technical engineering background in order to ensure successful agile development and project delivery in the HR application landscape.

The current HR application landscape is in front of significant transformation, requiring a candidate with the right mindset to lead towards the renewed landscape. To be successful in this role the candidate must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to review the requirements with a critical mindset to secure latest solution design fitting the overall Enterprise architecture. The candidate is expected to be able to ensure all business requirements are managed appropriately and deliverables are implemented. The candidate must also be able to manage changing priorities working with the project manager.

 

Key Responsibilities / Functions:

 - Close Cooperation with the Project Leadership and Product Owners to delivery high quality standards and prioritized delivery items.

- Translate business requirements into IT requirements

- Define the IT the requirements, design, implement and test the solutions

- Develop, maintain, and support the solutions.

- Inspect and verify the quality of the Releases before delivery

- Scope, analyze and size of business requirements

- Provide recommendations within IT and to the business on HR solutions.

- Responsible for completing the architecture and system documentation

- Supports solution deployments and executes testing and provides training to key users

- Self-organized and cross-functional - Reporting the progress of Sprint to the Project Manager and the Product Owner 

- Production support right after the move into production

- Accountable for solution design of the IT Service, aligned with Solution Architecture and IT service Owners

- Participates in prototyping, pilots and PoC’s

 

Job requirements:

- 3-5 years of HCM Suite and integrations development as well as migration experience required

- Proven experience with HCM providers i.e. SAP Cloud Platform Integration or Oracle Integration Cloud

- Proven Integration skills in Rest API, JSON, XML

- Proven development skills in programing languages i.e. C#, Microsoft .NET, SQL, Java, Python, .Net …

- experience with ETL, MS Azure/Power BI and other Web / Cloud development

- Experience in working with Agile methodology / DevOps environment

- Functional knowledge of applications in HR area

- MS Azure, Oracle and SAP Certification is an advantage.

- Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment

- Expertise in Application harmonization/streamlining of landscape

- Excellent oral and written communication / presentation skills

- Languages: English required

- Information security understanding

- Self-confident, strong problem solving

- Education: BSc degree.
