The Sales organization is looking for an Inside Sales Rep to join our team.  This position provides support to our outside sales team members by performing pre-sales activities including lead qualification, prospecting and helping manage targeted marketing campaigns. This entails working directly with prospects to understand their businesses, challenges and technical requirements and set appointment for our outside Enterprise Account Executives. You must be capable of understanding both Nuage technology as well as a prospect’s applications, identify all areas of opportunity and articulate the use cases for a Nuage solution.



  • Cultivate the pipeline by acting on marketing leads and conducting outbound calls.

  • Support the Enterprise Sales Executive team members to maximize prospect interaction that will ultimately lead to new closed business

  • Schedule appointments for phone, web or onsite meeting

  • Consistently generate background knowledge of targeted accounts and research appropriate contact details

  • Manage targeted prospecting campaigns using proactive email, phone and other communication tools to create interest and move prospects into the sales process

  • Qualify incoming marketing inquiries

  • Maintain consistent communication with the Enterprise Sales Executives

  • Drive brand awareness and interest in our products and work closely with our Enterprise account executive teams to drive pipeline and schedule new meetings.

  • Keep abreast of product capabilities and can clearly articulate the overall selling proposition

  • Understand and optimize all tools current and available to maximize selling time

  • Perform salesforce.com maintenance and optimization to support the sales process; document all key sales milestones and reporting requirements, including forecasting

  • Work in a close-knit team environment to develop and accomplish a lead generation plan that meets or exceeds quota targets

  • Participate in weekly sales team meetings

  • Knowledge of SD WAN or other cloud based network products
  • Minimum 4+ years of sales experience preferable in a results oriented sales environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in SD WAN technology sales and experience with a solution/consultative sales approach
  • Demonstrated experience selling to VP and C-level executives
  • Demonstrated experience in technology selling
  • Use of Salesforce.com, Sales Loft or similar platforms
  • Experience leveraging LinkedIn and other prospecting tools to make contact prospects
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to be coached and excel in a team oriented atmosphere
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to solve problems and think critically
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience using CRM systems and web-based conferencing systems preferred Knowledge/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or equivalent experience
  • Experience in account based selling
