The candidate must have an Engineering degree and/or a Master of Science from a « Grande Ecole » or University combining solid skills in software, networking, optical network technologies.
Knowledge in Software development technologies (Java, Erlang, C), SDN framework (e.g. ONOS, OpenDaylight), Data model languages (YANG, OpenConfig, Open ROADM, TAPI), Network configuration protocols (e.g., NETCONF, OpenFlow), cloud platforms (e.g., Openstack, Kubernetes, Docker, XOS/TOSCA or others), and security policy management will be appreciated.
The candidate must be able of acquiring and mastering quickly new scientific knowledge, collaborative software development environment, software development tools (e.g., JIRA, Jenkins, etc.). Moreover, the candidate must have good synthesis capabilities to tackle technical challenges as well as to propose/discuss innovative solutions.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required to expose and exchange advanced results with Bell Labs colleagues and the international research community.
