Purpose of the role
- Managing Nokia Hub/Distribution center in Sao Paulo Brazil.
- Hub Manager is responsible of managing the Hub/Distribution Center operational and financial performance by ensuring LSP has sufficient capacity according to the forecast provided by Nokia and the LSP is meeting contractually agreed KPI’s and Service Levels.
- Working with the BG’s on product portfolio’s, Inventory & capacity management
- Aligning processes and maintain work instructions & business continuity plans
- Ensure customer specific requirements are understood and met
Main Responsibility Areas
Logistics Service Provider Management
- Local LSP relationship management with HUB LSPs &Transportation LSPs
- Ensures that LSP receives all needed information & training about Nokia, processes and tool infrastructure, e.g. Nokia working instructions
- Maintains IM master tool for Hub LSP staff regarding Nokia ID and SAP accounts
- Moderates co-operation between HUB and Transportation LSPs and being mediator in escalation cases
Hub Operations Management
- Ensures Hub service levels and capabilities are met
- KPI Management
- Responsible for internal and external reporting
- Responsible for minimizing Pack & Hold inventory
- Responsible to provide monthly order-line forecast for the Hub to LSP
- Responsible for total cost management
- Ensures that all Nokia processes and guidelines are fulfilled
- Responsible for Customer Complaint Management
- Executes regularly quality self-assessments in the Hub
- Escalation point for second level Hub related problems
- Continuous Improvement – Process performance and quality control as member of Daily Kaizen Teams - Implementing initiatives to deliver improvements/savings
Process Management
- Drives continuous improvement
- Contributes in development of Nokia processes
- Deploys new processes, process changes and new tools
- Ensures results for agreed KPIs and annual plan actions
- Participate to strategy and annual plan creation
- Communication
- Hub processes & business continuity plans
- Create, collect and coordinate development actions within Hub
Position Requirements
Skills and experience needed
The successful candidate should be degree educated with at least 5-7 years of experience in logistics / supply chain management with a track record of process, cost management and leadership
- Understanding of Nokia supply chain policies, E2E processes and tools
- Understanding of own Process area
- Understanding of LSPs and logistics partners
- Good networking and influencing skills
- Team Leadership and line management experience
- Competencies in warehouse & hub management, Costing & Pricing
- Understanding of Customer / project business of Telco’s
- Understand and apply Operating model
- Ability to self-motivate and prioritize work activities / lifelong learner
- Experience of Lean / Kaizen
