Additional Requirements and Skills:

  • South African qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' PQE, gained in private practice or in-house, ideally in IT and telecommunications and in an international law firm, environment / multinational company.
  • A solid understanding of IT supply, outsourcing and project contracts, as well as experience in relevant corporate laws, regulations and best practices in corporate legal matters in South Africa is preferred
  •   Strong communication and presentation skills
  •   Proven or potential management and team leadership skills
  •   Experience in running legal and regulatory risk management and compliance departments/programs and/or experience in building Legal teams will be a strong asset.
