Head of Commercial IT
ROLE PURPOSE
The Head of Commercial IT manages and owns all Commercial IT (CO) projects and programs of all Nokia Business Groups including global programs
This role ensures the most efficient and industrialized delivery of highest business value through effective management of IT resources
This role leads the design and governance of all systems in scope and is overall responsible for Nokia-wide standardization and consistency in the platforms/systems in the scope of the Commercial IT.
Operate the mission-critical applications and systems of all Nokia Business Groups which are in the scope of the COE, ensuring their stability and integrity.
Meet customer and internal IT service levels and proactively drive continuous service improvement in close collaboration with the Service excellence lead of the Function
This role collaborates with the rest of Nokia IT to ensure quality services are seamlessly delivered to the business stakeholders as per agreed own and other IT Units service descriptions.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Accountability Areas:
Drive standardization, harmonization of systems/platforms solutions in scope
Establish, govern, and ensure adherence to IT standards.
Establish and execute governance boards in partnership with BEFs and business groups
Follow the industry trends solutions in scope and address new Nokia business needs related to the same
Defines and governs solutions inventory and leverage this inventory to ensure high reusability of the solutions
Provide executive consulting to BGs and IT in close alignment with BG
Ensure execution of projects and operations within the team on time, on quality and costs, including management and selection of vendors
Achieve the most efficient solution and operations delivery providing the highest business value through effective management of resources
System stability and integrity of all systems in the scope of the team
Meets minimum internal service targets towards the serviced business units or BEFs
Plays a key role in identifying and seizing opportunities for continuous service improvement
Monitors, measures, reports and reviews performance of services and ensures IT capacity meets business needs
Implement a vendor strategy which enables the strategic objectives
Delivery of all services in compliance with all applicable internal (e.g. CyberSecurity Framework) and external (e.g. SoX) regulations.
Develop an environment which fosters a high-performance and innovative team
Decision Making:
Serves as point of escalation, review and approval for key issues and decisions
Steward for integrity in the operating model
Take decisions on the resource and capacity plans in line with Business priorities and strategies and close collaboration with delivery teams
Decide on continuous improvement within the team

Ensure mission critical operation services are delivered within agreed service level agreements and adhere to the Nokia IT quality standards.
No major business disruptions.
Successful delivery of major initiatives to implement Commercial solutions across Nokia divisions
IT standards are defined and implemented
Solutions are governed, and their design integrity is ensured
Meet yearly budget targets for operations and Projects/Programs.
Customer and internal IT KPIs are met
Motivated team, clear definitions of responsibilities for managers, development plans in place.
Succession plans in place for key positions, strong talent pipeline.
Perceived by serviced IT Functions as strong and reliable partner

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
Strong knowledge of IT service management processes and experience in improving processes
Experience leading cross functional teams and managing relationships with business customers
Proven leadership, communication and management skills
15+ years of experience in IT service operations and projects
6+ years of management experience
Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a complex matrix organization
Proven ability to understand and influence stakeholders within and across the function, building trust and driving the change agenda leveraging both the formal and the informal elements of the organization
Proven ability to deal with uncertainty, adjusting course as the circumstances change, without jeopardizing the end goals and the achievement of the strategic objectives
