The team you’ll be part of

Nokia’s People organization (CPO) is responsible for leading a business-driven people strategy and offering people and workplace services to all Nokia employees. We partner closely with the business to provide a motivated and engaged workforce that is fit for the future.
The purpose of this role is to lead and inspire a team to deliver market leading cash compensation solutions for Nokia employees. In this role you will have direct reports and report directly to our VP Performance & Total Reward.

This position is primarily opened for European locations but we are also considering other locations so if you feel qualified don't hesitate to apply.


What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

•    Ensure provision of relevant market compensation data to people managers and CPO teams in Nokia
•    Leverage Nokia’s job architecture and employee recognition programs including Job Families, Grading, Salary Ranges, etc 
•    Drive the design of management, sales and all employee incentive plans and their implementation to the non-exec population to ensure that they drive performance 
•    Working with local country People colleagues to ensure that Nokia compensation and benefits operations in local countries remain compliant with local laws and remain competitive in local markets, while still remaining aligned with the overall company direction 
•    As a senior member of the People organization you’ll identify and contribute to other wider conversations in CPO on the most effective management of people
•    Nokia keeps the gender pay gap closed, and you will work with our partners to continue this work


Your skills and experience 

You have: 
•    10+ years of experience in the area of compensation management in a global organization, and knowledge of the international complexities that come with it
•    Experience in successfully designing, communicating and deploying compensation initiatives/projects in complex, large scale organizations.
•    Leadership and team management skills
•    Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data

It would be nice if you also had:
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management
•    Strong customer focus with a passion to drive positive change 
•    Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities
