Seven years or more of post-qualification experience with demonstrated experience in the areas of privacy and data protection, information security and/or IT law. Experience with European and international privacy and data protection regimes is strongly preferred, as is experience operating in a global corporate environment. A combination of relevant law firm and inhouse legal experience is preferred.
Previous experience in the telecommunications or technology industry or an adjacent field.
Understanding of existing and emerging technologies and platforms including, e.g., big data analytics, IOT, cloud computing, AI and SaaS required. Curiosity and willingness to learn about new technologies and the ability to assess risks and provide concise business-focused legal advice in relation to emerging technologies and trends.
Experience in designing and implementing a privacy compliance program
Experience in conducting privacy reviews and privacy impact assessments
Fluency in English. Additional European language skills are considered a plus

Ability to travel (up to 25% depending on where the role will be based)
