General Purpose:
Is responsible for sourcing of courier (small parcel) transportation services globally and road transportation services for the Europe, Middle-East and North Africa region. Works with other organizations both globally and in regions to ensure that the service meets pre-determined quality, technology, supply and cost criteria.
Main Responsibility Area:
As a Global Category Manager in Manufacturing and Delivery Procurement you are responsible for sourcing and commercial expertise in own business area. You will work together with internal stakeholders to transform business requirements into procurement plans and then executing them. You will be responsible for contacting and negotiating service agreements as well as developing and managing logistics service provider relationships. You will be the main source for commercial knowledge within own area for the procurement team and stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing supplier selection process in your area including identification of potential suppliers and agreement negotiations;
- Working closely with the rest of the procurement team to ensure a balanced portfolio with best-in-class cost and quality performance;
- Contributing to development of global sourcing strategies, processes and tools.
- Create and executing the global strategy in your business area and with your suppliers;
- Continuously keeping up with the changes and innovation in the market and industry in order to bring the benefits to Nokia;
- Managing your existing supplier portfolio including monitoring suppliers’ performance and proactively identifying and managing risks related to the suppliers.
We are looking for a supply chain or procurement expert with minimum 5 years of relevant experience. In order to be successful in this role you have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. These together with your experience of working with cross-functional organisations and in international environment make you a good team-player. You are not afraid to take the lead in negotiations and to make decisions even under pressure. Strong analytical skills are required to carry out your tasks in market benchmarking and cost analysis. Vision is needed for setting and driving the strategic plans. You have good business sense, a strong commercial drive and end-to-end view on the supply chain and logistics services. Good command of spoken and written English is a must.
