Market Procurement Services, Support Specialist position - Job description
Primary purpose of the position:
To provide general Market Procurement Services support, tools & process support with assigned tasks with a key focus on supplier qualification, selection, e-sourcing, contracting, supplier management and vendor data management processes, where required. Market Procurement Services, Support Specialist works with various internals and externals to get the best tender and contract results for market businesses, builds strong relationships with internal professionals, works collaboratively with all internal groups.
Main responsibilities:

Being responsible for supporting procurement activities from bid phase until project closing in alignment with Market Procurement Community (MPPM/SMPM/MCP/CPPM)

Supporting supplier selection, negotiation, contracting for the market categories in alignment with the Market Procurement Community (MPPM/SMPM/MCP/CPPM)

Acting as a support and a challenger in the Market Procurement organization to achieve the targets

Supporting the RFX and negotiation processes where required

Supporting the execution of tactical or strategic sourcing activities

Supporting the performing of e-sourcing events, up to auction (e.g. including running the training/info sessions for users inside and outside of the company)

Assisting with administering any changes in the procurement systems, tools

Work closely with the Market Community, GBS PS and Technology groups to understand their requirements

Facilitating and coaching market categories on problem solving, definition, and follow-up of mitigation actions

Regular tracking and reporting of the service support progress and status

Supporting market procurement related reporting needs

Ensuring compliances with all corporate policies and procedures relating to the sourcing and contracting of Market services

Ensuring that activities meet all relevant regulations and legal requirements including Category Area Work Instructions

Updating job knowledge by completing role required trainings, participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Providing support/input in assigned complex and broad tasks/initiatives
Skills, position requirements:
Professional experience in procurement
End-to-end process understanding of Nokia’s purchasing processes
Experienced in sourcing, contracting, quality management and cost analysis and management
Continuous self-development
Excellent command of English
Good communication and networking skills

Problem solving
Good knowledge with Ariba e-sourcing platform, CLM APTTUS, SBM, SAP
