About Mobile Networks
Mobile Networks, which includes mobile network products, network deployment and technical support services, and related network management. This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It target leadership in key technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN.
Job Description
Our R&D works at the heart of Edge Cloud technologies in Nokia. It is the key player in turning Bell Labs vision into real products.
We are looking for LINUX specialist to contribute to develop further and maintain LINUX distribution for cloudified radio products, seeking and using state of the arts methodologies.
Job Responsibilities & Competencies
* Your role will include maintaining open source software
- Maintain own branches of open source software components
- Adding fixes for the components for issues found from testing
- Backporting especially CVE fixes from upstream projects
- Adding new open source components to build
- Writing or adapting the spec files
- Managing the dependencies
Qualifications
You are B/M.Sc. in the relevant field (e.g. computer science, programming) and you have some knowledge and interest for:
* open source legal checks
* development of Linux distributions/kernel
* implementing CI/CD pipelines
* Programming skills (C, C++, Python, Go and JavaScript.)
* Fast prototyping skills, including comprehensive feature integration during all cycles of development
* Strong English language skills
