Engineer / Designer
Position Requirements
o Experience Required: 3 - 5 Years
o Strong experience with Object Oriented Design and design patterns
o Fundamentals of operating systems
o Memory management preferably C or C++ respectively
o Multithreading and synchronization mechanisms
o Knowledge of UML
o Linux console basics
o Unit and Module testing concepts and practices
o Comprehensive knowledge of WCDMA and/or LTE radio access technology is a big plus
o Good analytical skills and proactive in finding solutions for multiple scenarios that will be presented
o Good knowledge in Agile development method
o Fast learner and will be able to relay new competence to other members of the organization
o Flexibility in project assignments within 5G Manila Feature Team organization
o Fluent with written and spoken English with excellent and direct communication skills
o Good interpersonal skills and capability to work in a multinational/multi-site environment
Preferable Requirements
o Good knowledge of C++, STL containers, Boost and C++11, but flexible to switch into different programming languages when the need arises
o Shell scripting - such as python & bash is a big plus
o Knowledge of Test Driven Design (TDD / ATDD)
o System Component Test (SCT) development
o Good knowledge in Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK)
o Good knowledge of mobile network technologies, system architecture, functions and standards
