The team you’ll be part of
In Baseband & SoC / Architecture & Specification team you work with highly skilled and experienced colleagues. You’ll also interact with Layer 1 software team and Bell Labs research in multiple sites in Europe, Asia and US.
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
What you will learn and contribute to
Are you passionate about building future? We’re looking for a DSP expert for our next generation L1 SoCs including hardware, software and system aspects. You will be leading the technical work for analyzing and optimizing Layer 1/ physical layer algorithms on our DSPs and custom ASIP processors. The analysis includes also data input/output and multicore aspects. You will also interact with our DSP supplier and work with the Layer 1 software team to solve technical issues.
Your skills and experience
A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- You have 7+ years background in architecting and developing ASIC/FPGA hardware or software in wireless/telecom systems.
- Strong signal processing algorithm background related to radio, sensor, audio or video processing.
- Strong skills in embedded real-time software and programming in Matlab, C/C++ and/or assembly language.
- Good understanding of programmable processing architectures, such as RISC and DSP processors.
- You might have experience from working with AI/Machine Learning or packet processing.
- Fluent verbal communication and writing skills in English language.
- MSc or PhD in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
