Mobile Networks, which includes mobile network products, network deployment and technical support services, and related network management. This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It target leadership in key technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN.

 

Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled and technical Domain Chief Architect and Feature Class Owner (FCO) for L1 A&S team, where you will be managing and owning the assigned L1 Feature Class. You will be working with system, hardware and software topics.

  • Describing existing 3GPP specifications and Nokia Bell Labs new innovative concepts towards implementation teams to create next generation network equipment systems.
  • Feature class owner (FCO) meaning ownership of thorough understanding of interaction between feature class and L1, especially from effort estimation point of view. Your Feature Class domains will be Radio, FDD, TDD and LTE.
  • Leader of the feature grooming for the features assigned for Feature Class:
    • Feature analysis in co-operation with relevant R&D experts
    • Effort estimate collection for the features
    • Jira assignee for the features in his/her L1 Feature Class            
  • Member of L1 screening team
  • Ensures L1 content in the Feasibility studies
  • Ensures that Feasibility studies and L1 grooming documents are aligned
  • Acts as one of the technical contacts towards standardization
  • Participates in 3GPP feature analysis in L1
  • Supports L1 roadmapping
  • Co-operates with relevant system level architects and feature owners

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of background on development of wireless/telecom systems.
  • Rich knowledge of LTE/5G physical layer, knowing Resource Management design and implementation principles is a plus.
  • Strong background in communications theory and signal processing
  • Strong background in SW architecture or specification work related to BTS/SoC/SW, and signal processing systems development.
  • Recent experience and good understanding of RAN system solution and related products
  • Experiences on programming in Matlab/C/C++ and modeling wireless communications systems, DSP/FPGA developing expertise will be a plus.
  • Proactive and independent problem solving through own experience and network.
  • Fluent verbal communication and writing skills in English language.
  • Master or above, major in telecommunication, electronic engineering, computer science, or related.
