We challenge ourselves to create an inclusive way of working where we are open to new ideas, empowered to take risks and fearless to bring our authentic selves to work.

The team you'll be part of

As Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.

You will join an agile and cross-functional software development team that is supporting other R&D teams by developing and managing end-to-end DevOps pipelines from source code management to acceptance testing in customer premises. The products we manage are mostly developed in Java and they run and are developed on Linux. Main supporting languages and tools are Python, Groovy, Ansible and Robot Framework. The products are being deployed to Kubernetes based container platforms and on cloud platforms (OpenStack, VMware), including public clouds like AWS.

What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about enabling efficient software development and delivery?
As part of our team, you can:

  • Operate and integrate tools managing the sofware build process (Jenkins, Gerrit, Gitlab, Artifactory)
  • Set up continuous delivery and deployment of large scale software products in cloud and container platforms using the tools and APIs provided by the platforms and with automation tools like Ansible
  • Solve problems and find ways to impove software compilation and packaging in Java and Python environments, using tools like Maven, Gradle, junit, tox, rpm, etc.
  • Define and develop test automation tools and practices (Robot Framework, junit, pytest)
