Our Network Infrastructure business group (NI) includes IP, optical and network automation technologies and related services sold to our communication service provider customers as well as adjacent markets including webscale companies and enterprises. Job Description

As part of the IP Routing team in Korea, an IP Customer Engineer should have deep knowledge on IP/MPLS technology with greater focus on Nokia Service Router products, have the ability to execute complex and specialized demos/troubleshooting for Korea customers, be able to demonstrate technical leadership and act as IP CE by providing technical guidance and coaching other business partner engineers.

 

Job Responsibilities

The role requires to perform the following skills and activities:

  • Analyze customer’s requirement for BMT/PoC/Demo/Verification test etc.
  • Set up and lead them with high-level technical experience.
  • Understand field problems/issues and be able to translate them into technical requirements with English.
  • Understand and articulate field problems/issues and services at all levels to TEC (Technical Engineering Center)
  • Have better communication ability and negotiate things among customers, corporate and the field.
  • Create, present and document technical concept/problem/issue

 

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience in IP network
  • Experienced in testing IP network of aggregation and access for fixed or mobile operators
  • Deep knowledge of technology like OSPF/ISIS, BGP, Multicast, QoS, IP/MPLS (L2/L3 VPN)
  • Experienced in handling traffic generator e.g. Spirent or IXIA Test generator
  • Good communication and negotiation skills to manage customers, business partners and TEC
  • Fluency in both Korean and English languages is required
  • Linux operation experience would be an added as advantage
