Description:
The CT Head TEPS Germany reports to the CBT leader for TEPS Central and East Europe. He/she is the general manager for managing the business e2e for Nokia’s Market Unit Transport, Energy & Public Sector in Germany.  He/she is responsible to:
  • Develop/execute strategies across his/her territory from which global targets and priorities are derived
  • Influence buying decisions at the targeted customers and more generally on his/her market.
  • Close alignment and teamwork between internal support teams and the local sales team during the critical deal making process
 
Mission 
  • Customer Relationship
    • Owns the customer relationship, responsible for relationship strategy and coordination with the support of the segment organization of Nokia contacts with the targeted customers in his/her geography.
  • Account Management
    • Manage the Go-To-Market governance specially on key deals to maximize Nokia wins and sales.
    • Is accountable for business execution, after sales and managing the account including all internal processes and reporting (e.g. strategy, opportunity management, decision reviews – LoA, commercial negotiations) in cooperation with the pre-sales and support organizations.
    • Overall Customer Team P&L
    • Senior role, a general manager with sales capabilities
  • CT leadership
    • Provides goals and leadership for the people working in the CT and ensures that the CT works efficiently and has right competences in place
    • Line Manager for German team. Responsible of 1:90 dialogue with the staff and their annual performance and development review.
  • Bachelors or Master degree in engineering, telecommunications, business or related field.  Minimum 6 years’ experience in account management, portfolios, solutions and services sales in the telecommunication industry.
  • German language is mandatory
  • In-depth expertise in selling/marketing and system solutions knowledge
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets within the assigned territories
  • Knowledge of the Nokia portfolio, particularly in IP, Optics, IMS, and Strategic Industries — able to drive discussions at the C-Level;
  • Demonstrate mastery in teambuilding and conflict management
  • Demonstrate proficiency in navigating internal processes and systems, and supporting roles. Proficiency in CRM tools (CRM / Salesforces.com) for pipeline / funnel management and MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Enthusiasm in keeping abreast of technological and market trend as well as competitive intelligence
  • Ability to identify and engage with all key stakeholders
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively
  • Ability to perform under pressure
