SKILLS
- At least 10 years of experience in technology specialization, with 3-5 years of field experience as a Systems Engineer or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering; MBA is a plus.
- Must be able to quickly and easily master new technologies and evolving standards in various customer business disciplines (Residential IP, Wireless Carrier IP, Business Services IP, Wifi Offload, EPC, Triple Play Service (BNG), SDN, NFV)
- Excellent understanding of competitive product and solution landscape and able to articulate trade-offs between NOKIA and competitor products.
- Expert knowledge in IP domain (Edge & Core Routing, including but not limited to OSPF, BGP, L2 and L3 MPLS VPN, Ethernet Services, QoS, LDP, RSVP, SR) and in IP Solution Design with specific experience in large networks (over 1000s of nodes).
- Expert technical consulting skills, including ability to define trade-offs, ask probing questions, and incorporate NOKIA solutions into a broader technology environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with senior executives and program owners.
- Exceptional organization and teamwork skills.
- Highly collaborative work style with proven ability to gather consensus and take decisive and timely action.
- Good hands on skill to design, prepare and run IP Product´s demo or drive Customer Proof of Concept.
- Maintain a detailed-level of expertise of the business economics and trends within specialty area and franchise, and how NOKIA solutions add financial and strategic value.
- Expert at understanding NOKIA vision and technology; articulate the vision from the customer perspective and create unique, novel value propositions around NOKIA solutions.
- Interact at a senior technical level within an account. To be seen as a trusted technical advisor to the account team and customer.
- Is proactive and driven. Able to figure out what needs doing with minimal supervision, and get it done.
- Collaborates with internal virtual team members and proactively shares findings from own practice to the team.
