IP/Optical Networks BG Communications Leader
Qualifications
The role requires proven skills to drive initiatives across cultures, teams, geographies and generations. The position holder should have the ability to grasp, prioritize and simplify complex issues. S/he should have experience in executive and internal communications in an international environment and strong writing skills to create compelling messaging. A key task of the role is to evaluate and apply new and innovative approaches to reaching audiences.
The role works closely with business leaders to convert their communications challenges into actionable plans, building and reinforcing the corporate culture and supporting HR, legal and ethics communications.
The Business Group internal communications lead must also communicate Nokia messages working with the corporate communications and HR teams.
Requirements:
• Native level English speaker with excellent writing and messaging skills
• Degree in Communications, journalism, or other relevant discipline
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in communications
• Knowledge and experience in telecoms and data networking industry, knowledge and experience in IP routing business is highly desirable
• Thorough understanding of executive and internal communications in a corporation
• Experience working in an international company
• Leadership experience, including leading virtual teams
• Experience in managing change communications and integration projects
• Strong networking, presentation and social media skills
• Ability to leverage digital tools and channels in internal communications
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize
• Ability to grasp and simplify complex issues
• Team player with a cool head under pressure
• Energizing and innovative leader
• Strong cultural understanding
