Automation Tools Test Engineer

Position Description
The team is seeking a highly skilled Automation Tools Test Engineer to deliver automation projects to support the IP professional services delivery to Nokia’s customer base. This is a hands-on technical role in a dynamic Agile environment, working directly with developers, architects, product management and end customers.


What you will learn and contribute to
•    Designing and implementing manual and/or automated tests from a JIRA product Backlog to validate the functionality of the software, report and retest the defects.
•    Planning, executing, tracking of all test and QA activities for projects in an iterative delivery process, using judgement to strategically balance quality, schedule and cost.
•    Working closely with Product Managers and building overall test strategy. 


Your skills and experience
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills inTurkish and English.
•    Bachelor in Telecom/Data/Computer Networking Engineering or equivalent at least 4 years of experience
•    Technical degree or equivalent experience with a strong foundation in fundamentals of computer science.
•    Passion for testing, testing methodologies
•    Ability to create and execute test plans/scenarios and test scripts for commercial software applications, document expected results vs. actual results, and record software defects.
•    Strong knowledge of quality assurance methods and techniques including the software development lifecycle.
•    Must have experience with issue tracking software such as Jira or equivalent.
•    Must have experience with Selenium (with Java coding skills) for automated UI testing.
•    “Make it happen” attitude, strong sense of ownership, inventive, resourceful and flexible in a fast-paced, challenging and evolving environment.
•    Excellent troubleshooting skills, investigating/reproducing issues and driving them to timely resolution in a scrum environment working with peer testers and developers in different sites
•    Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment.


Nice to have

•    Experience in overall software development lifecycle (SDLC), common SW development practices like continuous integration (Gitlab CI, Jenkins or equivalent)
•    Experience in test management and reporting application such as Testlink.
•    Understanding of networking and protocol concepts such as IP, routing, SOAP & REST, MPLS services, and IP-tunnels.
•    Fundamental networking knowledge/experience, Nokia NRS1-NRS2, CCNA, CCNP etc. certification is a plus.
•    Practical Linux OS knowledge
•    Network Transformation experience is a big plus.
•    Knowledge of in any of the Cloud technologies (Private and Public) & Containerization technologies - OpenStack, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
