Emerging Technology Consultant
Responsibilities:
- Collect, assess, prioritize new technology ideas from Enterprise Architecture and Intelligence Automation opportunities from the Business where help is needed
- Build awareness/training of AI and how it can enhance team’s products and process optimization
- Manage or support ideation workshops to develop candidate solutions to Business challenges
- Develop business cases with support from Business and pitch to Sponsor
- Coordinate Proof of Concept (PoC) or Prototypes to validates ideas (preparation, plans, staffing, data availability, development environment)
- Collaborate with other teams or organizations (internal or external) to get the job done.
- Execute these activities using a fast-iteration Agile approach, staying within agreed constraints as applies to cyber-security and architectural
- Help transition positive outcomes to other IT units for productization delivery and support
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree minimum, Master and PhD Degree considered in priority – Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning
- Experience in leading IT and Innovation projects
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence
- Experience in Project and Program Management: working with product/process/data owners
- Experience in Agile methodologies, sprint reviews, planning sessions
- Experience in managing Proof of Concepts. Fast 1-3 month MVPs
- Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks within deadlines and constraints
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills- written & verbal, towards audiences ranging from technical to executive
- Ability to absorb broad ideas and break down into meaningful minimum value product deliveries
- Passion for innovation and incoming ideas/concepts
- Broadly agile and lean mindset and an obsession with learning through experimentation
- Able to learn autonomously using Internet, books, studies
- Able to share knowledge, train team members
- Able to work in cross-functional, multi-site teams built in non-traditional ways and comprising in-sourced, out-sourced, and student components
