Skills:

•      Master’s in engineering or 8-10 years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with IP/MPLS, IGP/BGP, SDN, NETCONF, YANG, REST API and scripting technologies.

•      Knowledgeable on Virtualization, SDN & NFV concepts and related technologies.

•      Knowledgeable on scripting and mastering programming languages and techniques.

•      Knowledgeable on Web technologies and how HTTP works

•      Hands on experience of REST API / SOAP API, JSON, YAML

•      Knowledgeable on Network Management Systems, networking concepts and related technologies.

•      Nokia SRA/Virtuoso, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent Certification is a plus.

 

Experience:

•      Experience in selling and delivering Datacenter/Carrier Network and Solutions

•      Excellent in designing networking equipment for Carrier, SDN and NFV Solutions and Concepts

•      Detailed understanding of IP/MPLS and EVPN concepts and related technologies

•      Strong Linux/Unix shell networking knowledge

•      Hands-on experience including design, build, deploy, trouble-shooting & fault-finding, etc.

 

Technologies/Products:

•      Nokia SDN & NFV portfolio –VSR, NSP, NFMP-P etc.

•      Nokia IP Router portfolio - 7x50 XRS/SR/ESS/SRa and 7705/7210 portfolio

•      VMWare ESXi, vCloud/vCenter, OpenStack, CloudStack, OpenFlow, KVM, Xen, Hyper-V

•      RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu, Java, Python/Perl etc.

Social Skills (behavior, attitude, language knowledge, …):

•      Proven record in customer focus

•      Analytical problem solver

•      Proven presentation skills and documentation expertise

•      Eager to learn, willing to invest in continuous learning

•      Fluent in English – written and verbal communication

Travel

•      Job requires travelling (25% - 75%), mostly in ME and Africa
