Qualifications:

 

The ideal candidate for this role must be able to demonstrate the following credentials:

  • Detailed technical experience in the testing, installation and operation of firewalls in a large Enterprise and Service Provider environment. This expertise includes hands-on operation of management tools and network analyzers. 

  • Very good understanding of the DNS protocol. Experience with Infoblox deployments.  

  • Proven command of PKI concepts with a proven understanding of x509 certificate fields and extensions.

  • Ability to understand CMP protocol and use OpenSSL or other utilities to build and analyze certificates, CRLs, and OCSP responses.

  • Knowledge of networking in particular experience with access control lists (ACLs), audit tools, routing, routers, OSPF, BGP, VPN, L2/L3 switch-routers.

  • Strong Interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team, with multiple departments.

  • Expert level relationship management, and communications skills to manage face-to-face communications on a daily basis with multiple levels of customer management and cross-functional engineering staff.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work productively under pressure.

  • Self-starter, team player, personable, enthusiastic, hardworking, and enjoys interfacing with customers on a day-to-day basis. Able to apply knowledge to real-world scenarios.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and methodologies in virtual environment. Able to isolate and identify configuration, design, and software anomalies; can clearly articulate findings in written and verbal communications with development staff.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, uses time in forward-looking ways.
