Account Manager
Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
- Broad knowledge of telecom industry and competitor trends
- At least 10 years or more experience selling highly technical solutions to carriers
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Masters desired.
- Strong business acumen in planning and organizing, information integration, decision-making and ability to achieve results while focusing on customer requirements and business success.
- Ability to acquire an in-depth understanding of Nokia's products, services and value propositions.
- Proven track record of closing Orders with a large carrier customer.
- Undergraduate degree is business or technical area.
- Experience selling into carrier space
- Experience closing complex carrier deals targeting IP equipment
- Experiencing selling data and other state of the art carrier IP solutions
- Ability to travel up to 40%
- Experience with data center interconnect solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong technical skills
- Experience with Nokia optical equipment especially the 1830
- Experience working with the Nokia systems: SCRM, etc
- Experience supporting channel sales
- Experience with IP sales
