5G & SmallCell RF Hardware Summer Intern 2020
Student Qualifications:
Overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above.
Must be enrolled as a full-time student for Summer 2020
Must be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited college/university.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Small Cell Hardware
R&D Interns will;
Design,
build, optimize, and test electronic circuits from baseband through 39 GHz.
Specific focus on mmWAVE 5G bands.
Identify design issues and propose
solutions.
Test and evaluate individual
circuits as well as overall systems.
Adhere to Nokia engineering
processes, including the maintenance of accurate documentation
Work in a global engineering
team environment soliciting and sharing expertise with other Nokia engineers as
necessary.
Support product integration
and applications.
Must be able to travel
internationally to support prototype manufacturing or customer deployment (if
needed)
Experience in any of
the following areas is a plus;
Work/lab experience in RF
hardware circuit design development, implementation and/or validation testing.
Work/lab experience with power
amplifiers and antennas.
Experience in PCB circuit
design/layout/&test
Experience in the use of
simulation tools
Experience in the use of test
equipment such as Signal Generators and Signal Analyzers
Familiarity with Mentor
Graphics, ADS, Python, & Microsoft office applications
