5G&SmallCell Hardware Integration Intern
Student Qualifications:
Overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above.
Must be enrolled as a full-time student for Fall 2019
Must be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited college/university.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Small Cell Hardware R&D Interns will;
Test and verify electronic circuits from baseband through 39 GHz. Specific focus on mmWAVE 5G bands.
Identify design issues and propose solutions.
Test and evaluate individual sub-assemblies as well as overall systems.
Adhere to Nokia engineering processes, including the maintenance of accurate documentation
Work in a global engineering team environment soliciting and sharing expertise with other Nokia engineers as necessary.
Support product integration and applications.
Experience in any of the following areas is a plus;
Work/lab experience in RF hardware measurements, implementation and/or validation testing.
Work/lab experience with power amplifiers and antennas.
Experience in the use of simulation tools
Experience in the use of test equipment such as Signal Generators and Signal Analyzers
Familiarity with Python, LabView & Microsoft office applications
