5G Field Test Engineer
Qualifications
You have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for learning. You are prompt in your tasks and proud of your work. You have analytical and technical troubleshooting skills and you enjoy working with technical teams. You enjoy making clear test reports with justified conclusions out of the measurement data. You have the ability to execute independent testing work, but you also enjoy working together with the team including virtual multi-site teams. Please see the detailed qualifications below.
• BSc/MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Radio Technology, Data Engineering or related field.
• You have at least a few years of working experience within the relevant area.
• Proven track record of some of the following areas: telecommunications systems, radio frequency technologies, verification and testing methods, data mining, test automation tools, scripting and programming skills, preferably also radio network planning skills. Possibly you have gained experience in telecommunication operator business or have worked for a network/terminal provider.
• Hands-on working experience and expert knowledge of 4G/5G telecommunication systems is preferred.
• Understanding principles of mobile communication network and main protocols.
• General interest in computer science and developing personal skills within the field.
• Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken) are mandatory, Finnish language skills are an asset.
• Excellent interaction and collaboration skills.
• Motivation and desire to learn in a fast-paced high technology environment.
• Driving license preferred.
